Went to a car meet and didn’t take photos of cars. Instead I captured the people enjoying them

I am a regular at the Halifax Car Club meets on Fridays. I usually have my camera in the car…..

….but I rarely take it out. I don’t typically enjoy shooting cars at meets due to the distractions and usually not great light, and even worse backgrounds. But a couple days before I had bought an upgraded version of my 70-200 f2.8 lens and really wanted to try it out. So I set out to capture the people of the car meet. Taking candid shots and capturing real conversations and emotions, no posing.
